Today

I think it is going to be a hot day. It was sunny in the morning.

I drove to school in Hyundai as my friend took my car to Albuquerque to drive her mom around.

At 11:00, I went to a friend, who is a PhD candidate in Materials department, to look into the C code of his project. He is using Borland C++ compiler and wants to convert some of the C code to C++. I observed that he is also trying learn C++. C++ is object oriented. Before converting C to C++, one has to make full use of the functionality and understand the project and convert them into objects to make an optimal C++ program. I explained him about the library of C functions he had and advised him to look for a code file with "main" function in it.
Later, I left for Sonic and bought a "Wrap Combo" - grilled chicken wrap and mid size coke - for $4.37. I went home, ate the food from sonic, ate curd rice with lemon pickle, did the dishes, and left for office.
I was watching the noon news while eating. Generally, I keep the TV volume high. Then, I heard a familiar ring. It was the ice-cart man. Nostalgia prevailed on me. It was similar to the ice cart that used to come to our streets when I was little. I liked the ice that was frozen in small covers. They used to come in different flavors. Grape flavour was my favorite. But, mostly I used to prefer the orange color because of the color it gives to the lips. Back then, refrigerators were not a common household item. There used to be a ice-cream shop right in front of our school. Each ice pack was around 50 paise.

I met Adam while doing the dishes. He came back from Seattle yesterday night. He is feeling really hot in Socorro.
