Face/Off Gets Off

I have been writing a faction for some time. But, I was told that it is not fair and not in good spirits. I really didn’t think it was hurting anyone. Looking in the retro, I do feel ‘Face Off’ is totally uncalled-for. Thus the faction, Face/Off, departs.

Why?, i don't understand, it was just a fiction essay, how can it be hurting people?, plus there are so many unanswered questions like: what happens to Perle, did she ever give the money back to Verche, is he going to be as trusting as he was before knowing Perle?
i need the end of the story

Liliana,
As I mentioned in the disclaimer, the faction was inspired by a real incident and not based on it. Unfortunately, one person got offended by the blog and felt that it was not right. Even though blogs are protected by First Amendment (freedom of speech), a responsible blogger has a liability towards society. I wanted my writing to be informative and entertaining, but not at the expense of spite. That would be sick and I cannot enjoy writing more about that. I would rather respect society’s feelings and stop writing about it.

That being said, I just got an inspiration for a new column after watching Dr. Robert J. Aumann’s Nobel Prize lecture.

Oh no.I am so disappointed.........I was enjoying reading.
I must say it was pretty intresting the way the story was being
narrated rather than the story itself..
I think people do get offended, hurt, angry etc by some aspects of every tale told.
That should not stop anyone from writing!! If this be the case everytime someone
wrote a story then we would not have any authors that we have today.Well...this is just my two cents!!
But I must say that ur writing was very enjoyable and can only hope at this point of time that you get inspired soon
and start another story...another journey and keep me thinking :)

It is awfully sad that you had to remove Face-Off, I know that your intension was to create an entertaining story based on the incidents that occured, without blowing it out of proportion. If I were the one narrating the story I would never remove it, but you did!!! This just shows that you are kind and thoughtful and respect others emotions. I feel I am really lucky to have found a good friend in Socorro. By the way did I mention that you are a very good story writer.. should continue with it :)
